Calle
de la Vilgen is the main gay area in lbiza. Lined with bars and outdoor
terraces to hang out on warm summer days, but as well as there, gay and
straight folk mix everywhere. Far more important to everyone in Ibiza than
mere sexuality is what they're gonna wear tonight and where they're gonna
get their party supplies to keep them going for the next 48, na, make that
72 hours b4 u have to sleep! You can literally dance around the clock.
The discos time it so that when one shuts, another opens. Its 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week.
Ibiza
is a very popular tourist destination, especially due to its legendary
and at times riotous nightlife centered mainly in Ibiza Town, the island's
capital on the eastern shore. The most famous clubs include Privilege (the
largest club in the world), Es Paradís (noted for its water parties),
Amnesia (known for foam parties), Space (an afterparty club), Pacha, Eden,
and DC10. These clubs have become the center of the worldwide electronic
music movement. During the summer, world class DJs perform. Many of these
DJs use Ibiza as an outlet for presenting new songs within the house and
trance genres of electronic dance music. A typical schedule for vacationers
includes waking at noon, early evening naps, late night clubbing, and "disco
