Seville
is also a beautiful town shrouded in history and spectacular historical
buildings. It has contrasts of narrow little lanes lined with restaurants
and shops, many no wider than a couple of meters, but also has huge open
spaces around it's grand parliment buildings and parks. An interesting
fact is that the the Giralda tower which you can see on the front page
of this site is still the tallest building in Seville and was for some
time, the tallest building in the world.
Probably
the most beautiful thing about Seville though is the people themselves.
It spurns more than it's fair share of stunningly cute guys. Sevillians
are naturally down to earth people but with a confidence that's addictive.
They are very proud people. Proud of their roots, of their heritage and
of their lovely city.
If
you plan to visit Seville, it's not a good idea to go in July or August.
At the very least it's 35C by day and often as high as 45C. Seville holds
the record for the highest temperature in Europe, at 52ºC (126ºF)
in 2004. Remember, only "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun".
It's literally too hot to go out! One more thing - learn some Spanish.
Almost no one speaks English and at the very least you'll want to say to
those gorgeous studs "¡Qué guapo eres! Llevame a tu casa".
